WASHINGTON—House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) today announced two new additions to the Office of the Speaker.

  • Kiel Weaver will join the Speaker’s office at the start of next month as Assistant to the Speaker for Policy, handling energy and environmental issues. Since 2003, he has been with the House Natural Resources Committee, where he serves as Staff Director for the Subcommittee on Water, Power, and Oceans. Kiel received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Washington.
  • Paige Waltz has joined the Speaker’s press team as Digital Media Coordinator. She previously served as Digital Media Manager for the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. Paige received her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Public Administration from The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
