MEDIA ADVISORY: Speaker Ryan to Tour Harley-Davidson Facility in Wisconsin | Speaker.gov

WASHINGTON—On Monday, September 18, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) will be in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, to tour Harley-Davidson’s facility and discuss issues impacting American manufacturing, including tax reform and free trade. Speaker Ryan will tour the facility—a 912,000 square-foot space where Harley-Davidson engines and transmissions are produced—participate in a roundtable with Harley-Davidson leadership, and hold a press conference.

Credentialed members of the media are invited to cover a stop along the factory tour, the top of the roundtable, and the speaker’s press conference.

5:20 p.m. CT Q&A: Speaker Ryan to Take Questions on Tax Reform
Following the tour and roundtable, members of the media are invited to participate in a brief Q&A with the speaker.

Due to space limitations, RSVPs will be accepted until at capacity. Media must RSVP to Molly Edwards at molly.edwards@mail.house.gov by 7:00 p.m. CT/8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 17. Confirmed attendees will receive a follow-up email with outstanding logistical information.

Doors open for media at 2:30 p.m. CT. All media—with and without equipment—must arrive by 3:00 p.m. CT for the security sweep. Members of the media must show valid press credentials onsite to gain entry.

NOTE: Fully enclosed closed-toed shoes are required. Heels are not permitted.
