Today, Speaker Ryan will participate in the AP’s Newsmaker interview series with Washington Bureau Chief Julie Pace to make the case for historic tax reform. In particular, the speaker will argue that cutting taxes and simplifying the code will create jobs, raise wages, and grow our economy.

Watch the discussion live via Facebook Live or on speaker.gov/live at 10:45 a.m. ET.

This event follows yet another busy week for tax reform, during which Speaker Ryan joined the New York Times and Fox News to discuss the benefits of a more simple, fair, and competitive tax code, and House, Senate, and White House leaders continued to discuss the path forward on tax reform. And later today, the Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee will hold a hearing focused on making the IRS a more customer service-friendly agency.

Bonus Video: A new tax code means a Made in America tax code. Check out our new video from Speaker Ryan’s recent visits to factories that hire and manufacturer products right here in the United States.
